Rfactor 2 consolidates its partnership with Formula E
Motorsport Games, the company that owns the development studio Studio 397 (creators of rFactor 2), has just announced the strengthening of their partnership with Formula E. Since 2018, rFactor 2 has officially offered the teams and drivers of each season of Formula E. The year 2022 is no exception, the 2022 content is now available.
An Esport championship and more!
Beyond the content on the rFactor 2 sim racing platform, Motorsport games has just announced the organization of the official Formula E Esport competition. Building on their experience thanks to the organization of the virtual 24 hours of Le Mans, the motorsport games company will offer a high-level eSports championship, whether for participants or spectators. Dmitry Kozko, CEO of Motorsport Games says : “Formula E is one of the fastest growing championships in motorsport and we couldn’t be more excited and honored to bring it to life in rFactor 2. rFactor 2 continues to be the best-in-class simulation platform on the market. This addition will dramatically improve the experience and offerings available to our players. eSports, coupled with the growing popularity of Formula E, we know that our partnership will achieve all the objectives expected by our teams.”
Simracing and rFactor 2, beyond Formula E
This partnership is in addition to the many existing partnerships between motorsport games and racing car championships. Indeed, Motorsport Games has already concluded many partnerships, to date. The 24 Hours of Le Mans, with the exclusive organization of the virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans sim racing. The Indycar, with a probable simulation video game in preparation. The BTCC, with a racing game also in preparation. Nascar, with some games of which have already been released (with an unenvious reputation, however…)
We can see that the rFactor 2 platform, already recognized as one of the best sim racing platforms today, is in the acceleration phase. Players will soon be able to find their favorite championships officially, with a very high level of loyalty and piloting! We look forward to further announcements from Motorsport Games.
